My "offerings" to you are short bits of text and video that I post to this site. They aim to explore specific human behaviors and concepts in relation to the individual. This is in hope of initiating a progression that, with your participation, may lead us to a deeper understanding of humanity: you and I, or the self and the other. These offerings, your responses to them, and what I hope will be offerings of your own are intended to comprise the heart of this project. I call them offerings because every one of us is a unique person. Though our perspectives may differ from each other, from moment to moment they are each exactly as they should be and can be no other way. This truth illuminates one genuine way in which each other's perspectives are worthy of respect and acceptance. You, I, and any worth that may be in my words, will best be served if I offer, rather than dictate them to you. Also, the term "offering", as in suggestion, represents my recognition of my own human fallibility and willingness to listen to other ideas: Any part of what I say may simply be wrong.

Why text and video?
The text is most essential. It is for poring over, and re-reading, to produce depth of understanding or questions, and will best provide for one of my greatest hopes: input from you. The video is to humanize the whole thing to show you there's a person behind the words.
